Google Apps

Google Apps are available 

on various platforms:






The Official Google for Education Training offers simple lessons for each of the apps that we have access to on campus.  This training is for educators and will give an educational spin to the apps.


The Google Apps Learning Center is geared toward the general public but there is still some good information to help get you started or show you something you may not have known.

Use add-ons to enhance each Drive App or check out the "Tools" section in the toolbar.

A few of our favorite add-ons for Google Docs:

  • NoodleTools allows students to create citations right in Google Docs and is automatically available in all FM Google Drive accounts
  • Kaizena records voice, text, or link comments to students' work.
  • Docs has its own template gallery that you can use to create many kinds of documents.
  • ProWriting Aid searches the users document and offers suggestion for common errors such as capitalization and acronym consistency or ways the writer can simplify their text.

  • Coggle is a collaborative brainstorming tool that syncs with Google Drive.
