ENG104-Andersson

A research guide for students in Andersson's ENG104 class.

Find or Choose an Author and/or Work

The first step in your assignment is to choose a story to read (or that you've read) to analyze and interpret. This will be considered your primary source.

Find What Others Are Saying About Your Author/Work

Your task now is to find and incorporate what others have written about your author and/or work.  You'll use the Evans Library databases to find college-level articles and incorporate parts of those articles into your writing.  These articles will be your secondary sources. Remember, your ideas matter the most!

Evans Library Tip:

Use Boolean logic and keywords to your advantage!

Boolean Logic

"August Wilson" AND "The Piano Lesson"

"August Wilson" AND ("The Piano Lesson" OR Christianity)
