Carnegie Mellon courses stand out because of their collaboration with cognitive scientists on their campus with their Open Learning Initiative.
Coursera
Coursera was founded by Stanford computer science professors Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller. Originally launched with partners Stanford, Michigan, Penn, and Princeton, many other universities have since joined.
edX
Free online classes from many top universities, including Harvard, UC Berkeley, and MIT. MITx courses offer "certificates" that will bear the name of the not-for-profit overseeing the edX program, not MIT's.

George Mason University's OER Metafinder "The Mason OER Metafinder searches sixteen targets in real-time, returning the top several hundred or so relevant hits from each site. Because it is a real-time search, it takes a bit longer than searches of pre-indexed content; however, as compensation the results returned are absolutely up-to-the-minute for each search target. Additional results will trickle in as the search continues running and you begin examining your results. Our OER Metafinder is built using the Explorit Everywhere! software developed by Deep Web Technologies in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We use their software to provide a number of different metafinders for Mason researchers (e.g., our Sciences Metafinder is a quite popular example)"

BC Campus OpenEd BC Open Textbook Project began in 2012 and has over 60 open textbooks
College Open Textbooks "The College Open Textbooks Collaborative, a collection of twenty-nine educational non-profit and for-profit organizations, affiliated with more than 200 colleges, is focused on driving awareness and adoptions of open textbooks to more than 2000 community and other two-year colleges. This includes providing training for instructors adopting open resources, peer reviews of open textbooks, and mentoring online professional networks that support for authors opening their resources, and other services."

OpenStax College "OpenStax is a nonprofit based at Rice University, and it’s our mission to improve student access to education. Our first openly licensed college textbook was published in 2012, and our library since scaled to more than 20 books for college and AP courses used by hundreds of thousands of students. Open SUNY Textbooks The mission of Open SUNY Textbooks is to provide an academic-friendly publishing model and infrastructure which supports faculty adoption, remixing, and creation of open educational resources (OER) and courses.
Open Textbook Library "Open textbooks are textbooks that have been funded, published, and licensed to be freely used, adapted, and distributed. These books have been reviewed by faculty from a variety of colleges and universities to assess their quality. These books can be downloaded for no cost, or printed at low cost. All textbooks are either used at multiple higher education institutions; or affiliated with an institution, scholarly society, or professional organization."

YouTube allows you to filter your results to find which videos have Creative Commons permission to use. To do this, you’ll use the filters option and select "Creative Commons."
