Student Services

How do I access mental health services during the shutdown?...

Counselors Dorothea and Deb are continuing tele-therapy (telephone contacts) with students. If you are a current client of these counselors, please contact them directly to discuss your appointment schedule.

  • Any new student (18 and older) who is interested in connecting with Dorothea or Deb for mental health counseling could contact them through FMCC e-mail.
  • For further information about St. Mary’s Healthcare, students can go to or contact the hospital at (518) 842-1900 to inquire about specific departments.
  • *Students who are in immediate crisis, contemplating suicide, or feel in danger of hurting themselves should contact 911 or go to their nearest hospital*
